Sure, it looks peaceful, as they don't move...but wonder if she still doesn't suffer until the bitter end.<br/><br/>With paralytics, you are fully conscious, but suffocate to death. The only muscle the drug does not paralyze is the heart. I helped retrain the horses that didn't make it at the track, into show and trail horses.  It's sad, but not unusual. So even as their body is breaking down, they keep running, which is usually which causes the amount of damage.<br/><br/>A very, very sad day. Again.
