Seriously though, I know first hand that they DO give free timbits to dogs at the drive-thru.

This was my email to Tim Horton's that morning, Rachel's reply, and my reply to her.

I then corrected the story I posted here, and also emailed the Toronto Star.

The Toronto Star wrote me around 11 am saying that they corrected the story.

Unfortunately tha actions of the manager of this location were not appropriate nor grounds for dismissal.

With an apology from management Ms. Lilliman has been rehired by this Tim Hortons franchisee at another location.

It is amazing what a bit of bad publicity will do for policy or stupid decisions.

After reading this Yahoo story, I do believe that my email may have helped get her job back with an apology from the company.
