The Scientific Case for Regulating Junk Food Like a Drug Posted: 5 months ago by JDRucker
Another argument has joined the mix as well: Junk food, like cigarettes, is addictive and should be similarly regulated. Initially, this was just a metaphor. Now it's becoming more than that. Scientists are trying to show that food literally addicts you like drugs.

I'm not really surprised. Some people really, really, really like fast food. I personally view it as a necessary evil, because fast fries are good if I'm hungover and need a little Vitamin G (G for Grease) or if I'm road tripping and need a quick bite and I was too disorganized to remember to pack a lunch.
I also think junky foods should be regulated or taxed more, just like alcohol and cigarettes.

Or we could, ya know, not regulate either and let people make their own decisions on how healthy they want to be.

Indeed, you cannot force people to take care of themselves. If someone wants to eat junkfood, they will just end up making it themselves, you cannot change people through regulations.
On another note..
People have the right to be retarded, you cannot take that away.

(not the real kind of course)
