You tried to make the argument that hating on Muslims is more appropriate because people have the ability to choose their religion, versus skin color which is something that people can choose. Two reasons that'll get you downvoted.But see, I pointed out that both were wrong, AND explained why the American public would think differently of the two, and why would would be more socially acceptable. People downvote me because they love Obama, and they know I don't like Obama. Seriously, I pmed 1thirteen3 and he experienced the same thing.

One: It's a stupid argument. Why do you think more Americans are Christians and more Arabs are Muslims? What you believe has a lot to do with how you were raised, and if you grew up praying to these Gods your whole life, do you really think you're going to stop honoring them because a few of you fellow Muslims are crazy? No, the same reason America is still a country full of Christians despite the fact that the Westboro Baptist Church is also Christian

Two: It's an incredibly bigoted argument because you are implying that all Muslims are deserving of this kind of hatred.

See the thing is that I don't think they deserve it. In fact, I even said it was wrong. I was correcting someone who said that Parsley's comments were worse, by saying that you can choose religion but you can't choose skin color, so racism would be the worse of the two.

If you don't want to be downvoted in the future, don't say such xenophobic and hateful things.

See, I don't even understand why you, or anyone, would see how I say xenophobic and hateful things. I don't even make racist jokes because I think they're wrong. But, because I defend Parsely's comments over Wright's, I'm automatically deemed racist and hateful because I don't like Obama.

The main thing that is just plain silly is when he states that America was founded in part to eradicate Islam.Ah, very good. So all this talk about obama and the rev. Wright.. how come this clip isn't shown on fox news?Well, I can't see the videos, but if that's Hagee... the answer to you question is simple:

HAGEE IS NOT JOHN McCAIN'S SPIRITUAL ADVISOR!

No, that is just a common lie spread by people trying to smear McCain. Hagee is a guy (which a large following) who endorsed McCain... there's kind of a difference between an endorsement, and being a member of the church. Furthermore, McCain has rejected (a number of times) Hagee's loony statements.

But let us not forget, despite some people wanting the Rev. Wright story to disappear... even Obama himself has said he thinks this it is an issue worth discussing.
