Fruits and vegetables taste a heck of a lot better when they are locally grown and eaten fresh.<br/><br/>However, for many countries and regions, some fruits are never in season. But that's not what he's aiming at.<br/>The point is that we're shipping food all over the world, just so we can have them all year round. Sounds like he's fed up with posh restaurants charging $50-100 a plate for frozen fruits and veggies.
