#13 was proven wrong - most ulcers are caused by a bacterium, not foods.

And if fresh fruits, veg and beans cause gas and bloating, why is Gillian MacKeif (sp?) always telling the fat farters on her show to eat them?

I eat whatever I please, but avoid foods that make me feel itchy or that have made me ill in the past. I was a tomato FIEND for decades, but now I feel nauseous after I eat them. And after only 15 years of eating shrimp, I find they make my mouth itch.

Then there's the combos. I can eat cheese, hot and cold, sliced or melted. I can eat ham cold, pork in any form as long as it's properly cooked. But if I eat a hot ham and cheese sandwich, I can't even hold down water for 5 days!!! Which is a shame because they are yummy, but I really really hate to be sick!

And I know a lady who has been a vegetarian size 4 for over 40 years, and her cholesterol is sky high!
