At least there have been many tests done with professional wine testers and reviewers where they would label the bottles with higher priced labels as tasting better even when the wine was switched from actual bottles.

I like to kid myself that I can tell a good wine from a bad, but in truth, as long as it doesn't make my eyes water or my throat bleed I'm good.
