About 120 dogs have been rescued from a couple who fled South Australia after being convicted of animal cruelty.
Margaret Higham was today in police custody after being found by Victorian police and RSPCA authorities at a rural property in Casterton in Victoria's far west, near the South Australian border. Update on this story.

Throw the book at her!!! They need to impose on people like this that they are not allowed to ever own another animal again.
At least one was caught. Hopefully the husband has enough sense to turn himself in now.
