Court Upholds Some Child Pornography
"The law sets a five-year mandatory prison term for promoting, or pandering, child porn. It does not require that someone actually possess child pornography. Opponents have said the law could apply to movies like "Traffic" or "Titanic" that depict adolescent sex." picked by madhatteraggie 3 months ago

Abusing children: bad. any media depicting said abuse: bad. saying its not bad: bad.

so far we're cruising along on 'hey that s**ts bad' avenue, with me on board.

using said bad things to screw with basic natural freedoms, with grey edges and exploitable fuzziness: bad.

removing all the badness in the world isnt worth living in a police state for, and this law's 'you dont need to actually break the law to break the law' undertone i dislike, a lot. a worrying path. whats next? chatting about how'd you love to knock off a bank so you can pay your debts off online somewhere = jail?
