holy hell. I couldn't even imagine what would be going through my head if I was his girlfriend walking next to him. yikes.
I was wondering what would make something so weird that it could be called a freak accident and after reading this I'm pretty sure that "freak accident" is fairly accurate.

Why do I think that if a guy drove the pickup truck he would have been arrested for stupid, neglective behaviour only he is responsible for?

How awful. It reminds me of a good couple, friends of mine. They were taking a walk and this truck came along and took her out, leaving her husband untouched next to her. Freaky and awful. He was heartbroken. It was at night and the truck driver who hit her didn't see her.

No kidding...

No charges! Why the f*** not? Handling stolen goods, driving dangerously, driving with an unsafe load! If the authorities want any help with the charges I'm sure I could help!
