One person was killed Friday when a construction crane fell more than 20 stories from the top of a Manhattan building, according to Scott Stringer, the borough president of Manhattan.

There are 2 office towers under construction across the street from my office, with cranes. I always cringe when I go out onto 6th Ave.

I haven't heard yet any possible causes of this collapse. The city has got to take real action with inspections.
