I was at the 1986, WS game 6 against the Red Sox at Shea.

But.....we left early Gah!

It was a huge crowd, I was parked at the back of beyond and walked out after two outs were made in the 10th. No chance left, the meat of the lineup was past.

There were hundreds of people in the parking lots with portable radios and tv's so we had a running update. The game finally ended when we were on the Whitestone bridge at the toll booths. Everyone left their cars and started jumping up and down and whooping. Like New Years eve.

Yogi Berra is right. It ain't over till.....

Never again will I leave a sporting event until it's absolutely over.

Definitely worth watching if you're depressed about how the mets have been playing lately.

Honestly, they didn't 'choke', per se, they got their offense beat up by the Chargers in the AFC Championship and couldn't hack it against the Giants.

New York you owe San Diego HUGE!! Pay us back by never mentioning the 1998 world series again...
