Oh, man... :( I really didn't want to read this first thing this morning.
George was the spokesperson for all the cynical, rational, atheistic humans who are despondent because they can see that the world is going to crap.

Now what am I supposed to do with all this napalm and silly putty?

George made me think and in made me laugh while I was thinking. My views were so aligned with his on so many things but mostly because he brought them up in the first place and made me think about them. I didn't agree with him 100% (99.7%) but he was still funny when I didn't agree with him.

The world has lost one of the greats.

Noooooooooooooo. I wanted to go see him perform here earlier this year, but missed the chance to get tickets.

This sucks.

Easily one of the funniest men who ever lived and his comedy was really just a common sense observation of life.

In other words, he was funny because he said stuff we all thought but never put it into words. He was that voice in all our heads that wasn't afraid to call us morons.

RIP George. You died too young, man.

I have very fond memories of Carlin. He was one of those guys that kept me laughing even when I didn't have much to laugh about.

He will definitely be missed.

I actually began crying this morning when I found out. He was the reason I learned to have a spunky attitude.

I had tickets to see him in early 05'. He canceled then, and two other times, that year. Finally he just said he couldn't make it, and refunded everyone's money.

RIP George.
