OK, I'm not going to link where the pictures are, but with very little searching effort...BAM!
I saw this yesterday and was contemplating on weather or not to post the story, unfortunately the only story yesterday had pics with it.
Now, for all of you thinking you have to see what I'm talking about, remember, you can't unring a bell.
Also, I would appreciate any comments on this story to give me a feel for what this community currently thinks of a submission like this.

Hmmm, interesting question. I clicked the link, and didn't care one way or the other if there were pictures. I'm not going to search for the pictures.

I'd say as is, with no pics, it's exceptable. Especially in the gossip section. I don't remember what the final verdict was on NSFW photos, but a warning would certainly be warranted. I do think we decided against them, but I could be wrong.

So without the photos right there, I don't see a problem. Honestly though, I'd be a bit disappointed if this got voted up and made it to the front page. Not because of the content, but just because we, as a community, felt something like this was so newsworthy. I'd rather rehash Bush all day than see links to Britney's goods, but that may be just me.

Yeah, same here. I think it's trashy, but at the same time, I don't view this the same way I'd view someone submitting a "gallery of britney spears pictures". It's not prurient just for prurient's sake. It's an actual news worthy story about a washed up celebrity acting like a tramp just to get publicity, and there are photos to back it up.

Hoosker, I think you made the right decision by waiting for a story without pics before you posted it. As it stands now, I don't find anything wrong or NSFW about the post, especially since there's no direct links to pictures.

And for the record, I *have* seen the pics. And you're right on the money about unringing a bell...

Those who have teenagers, especially girls, might find this story newsworthy.

I have three teenage stepchildren, one being a 13 year girl. How would this be newsworthy to me? Make sure to tell her to always wear panties? That Britney Spears is nasty and dresses like a hillbilly ho? That her idol is a has been?

Honestly, she wouldn't listen to anything I said anyway. She's a teenager. If she does idolize Britney (she's more in the Hillary Duff camp), and I told her about this, she would idolize her more because I disapprove.

As I said above Hoosker, me, personally, would be disappointed if articles like this made the front page. Sure, the occasional Paris puked on stage, or Lohan passed out again story might be interesting, but to me, paparrazi photos of Lohan's boob slip or Britney's box is borderline creepy, and I wouldn't want to see it on the front page of Plime everyday. Others might, and that's fine, but I wouldn't vote them up, myself.
