From personal experience, I do know that women - generally speaking - do get a bit more frisky on vacation. They are more likely to cheat, even if single they are more likely to go out with a guy they may not normally have gone out with at home.

They are also more likely than they are at home to have sex on the first "date".

I would assume this is because society teaches women they are supposed to be pure and innocent. They are not supposed to be as horny as men, at least not unless they are in a committed relationship.

Being on vacation, being away from home, friends, and their societal pressures allows women to be more open, to break the chains and get funky.

I dont get it. If woman are more likely to cheat, that means men does not cheat that often. So who do these women cheat with? With each other? On the other hand homosexuality is more frequent among men than woman, so this lesbian cheating thing does not seem to be feasible either.

The single guys who go on vacation knowing they're going to score with some horny chicks.

Having been an observer from the stage for 20 or so years, I can tell you this-
"Girls night out" can be a very down and dirty affair.
Women hide rings just as often and just as well as the men do, and the standard MO seems to be to find the girlfriend who won't tell, and helps justify the deeds after the fact.

Don't get me started on barflies and groupies.
