Strangely enough I spoke to my aunt today and she found a baby bat in her grandsons cot earlier.

They called the RSPCA who told her it was normal at this time of year and came and got said bat.

It's true--baby bats get confused, and can't find their way back to their roost before the sun comes up. So, they hide anywhere they can find, and usually will be able to find their way back within the next few days.

Well there was a moment when I was reading the article when I thought that a spot of unnecessary censorship would have improved the article no end.

Third paragraph, second clause:

It would seem that the bat, being a creature known for its poor eyesight, mistook Miss Buchan’s wardrobe for a cave.
