If more people were inclined to explore the ideals of faiths that appear offensive to their own this would not be an issue.

Anyone who has read a few pages of the Satanic Bible, or even glanced at a few websites about Satanism, will be forced to accept Satanism is not devil-worship. Satanism is revering the individual as their own god. Accepting that their is nothing controlling your actions, nothing controlling your destiny, but you.

Christianity is just the exact opposite. As God sits opposite Satan. (On the basis that Christians base their actions on 'God's word'.)

The investigation should not be hung up on the parents' religion but on where the child would rather spend the time. (How young is young children?). There is no physical benefit in any form of religious worship unless you're a Tibetan Monk, and if it is decided that Satanism is detrimental to the childrens' health it is bigotry and contemptible.

And the argument that his Satanism embarrasses the children is nonexistant; all parents, in some way or another, embarrass their children. I don't know how extremely public he is for it to become embarrassing the children... I expect it is the STIGMA that is embarrassing.

To add to what Antt is saying, most Satanists don't even believe in Satan.

This is true.
Satan is the embodiment of self-pride and hedonism.
And a way to use fear to control people.

Actually, if you read a lot of the philosophies of Anton La Vey it has some good points!
