Ebert and Roeper leaving popular movie review show
Chicago Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert says he's cutting ties with the television show that he and the late Gene Siskel made famous.

In an e-mail to The Associated Press on Monday, Ebert said Disney-ABC Domestic Television had decided to take the show "in a new direction" and he won't be associated with it. picked by bingo 3 months ago

It was never the same for me after Siskel died. Honestly, I think I've watched it once since.

Same here. Without the interaction between the two of them it was just a boring 30 minute commercial for the movies with 2 people giving their opinions.

When it was Siskel & Ebert it was still all that, but it managed to be entertaining.
