Foam Covered Kittens Survive Entombment
If the fellow who did this didn't mean it, it is a really bad accident. If he did...it's bad anyway. Poor kitties. picked by prish 3 months ago

I can't believe that he did this accidentally. He knew the cats were there.

What a jerk.

Yeah. If he did that to a human, it would be 10 times that much. A cat's life isn't of that much value...not. I think it should be just as punishable as if he did it to a human. A life is a life.

“I don’t know how long a five-week-old kitten would have been able to live without food, water or going to the bathroom because the vet actually had to remove (foam) from there because it was all foamed up.”
I'm wondering just how a vet cleans expanding foam out of a kitten's shooter?

They were 5 week old kittens who were trapped in the wall for 3 days.

Not that that makes it any better.

I believe these were stray/wild cats.

It may seem callous and/or off-topic, but really it emphasises the need for trap/neuter/release programmes.

No, I see your point. Even animal shelters promote spaying and neutering your pets.

As for this man...maybe someone should put him a brick wall and fill with him the hardening foam...accidentally of course.

Good - I was worried that it might have come over as "goddamn cats shouldn't have been breeding in the first place.

Most feral cat colonies are in some way facilitated by humans - from abandoned kitties that wouldn't have been around to be abandoned if their owners has bothered to get their cats spayed/neutered in the first place to inadvertently feeding the colonies by not disposing of their rubbish properly.
