How did this man make it growing up not knowing this? I would imagine he would have washed his hands all through his life, wouldn't this have been found out sooner if in fact he was allergic to water? Doesn't sound right to me.

I've heard of people being allergic to components used to treat the water.. but not water itself.. that is insane. Don't believe in aquagenic urticaria....sorry.

Two questions:

1. if he is allergic to water, what does he drink? Wouln't he break out in hives every time he drinks a glass of water?

2. If his skin can't come into contact with water, I assume he can't bathe, so doesn't he stink to high heaven?

Maybe he's allergic to the Dihydrogen monoxide in the water, not the water itself.

Dihydrogen mondioxide is dangerous stuff.
