Hmm I've never really introduced myself either. Welcome to Plime Ash and Chelsea and hello to eveyone else.

I'm Dav (rhymes with chav), and I live in England just outside Liverpool. I'm from Scotland originally but moved here 3 years ago when I met my loverly lady Claire in an AOL chat room.

We have 2 cats one called cat and the other called kitten and we are about to have a baby in about 5 weeks.

Oh and I'm an alcoholic.

(sorry I had to put that in.)

Great names for your animals. My wife wouldn't let me name our dog "dog". I'm still kind of bitter over that.

By the way; who are you pronouncing "chav"?

D as in dog
A as in cat
V as in about the only way V can be pronounced.

I was named David at birth, but i hate my parents and want to have no association with them whatsoever and as I'm known online as Davbob the name Dav kinda stuck. So I had it legally changed to Dav.

Edit- i have always wanted to call animals by what they are, but have never met anyone that would let me. Until I met Claire that is.

I did type "who", didn't I? I meant how. How are you pronouncing "chav" (which rhymes with dav).

I'm more of a dork in that as a 21 yr old woman, I secretly act like a 14 yr old boy, spending hrs at a time playing final fantasy and watching childrens cartoons. I'm actually watching an avatar marathon right now! yay!

Well stay away from Moe then, he has a certain affection for 14 year old boys.

Dork? Nerd? Never. I'm a Geek.

I hope this doesn't become a divisive issue with armies of Geeks facing up against a Nerd/Dork Coalition.
