It takes a while too load because of the song, but it's her favorite so I put it on there.
Dude, you're a nice guy. Your lady is a babe. I hope you have a long and happy life. (please excuse poop, he lives in his parents basement...but, that is why we love him, he's restrained)

I hope they unlock the door soon so I can pee again. I need to pee. Maybe if I am good they will give me some water.

Well that makes no sense at all. You'll just have to pee again.

So what kind of SEO do you focus on? It's always been of interest to me. One of my regular stops (and where I learned a ton about the SEO that went into Plime's design) is webmasterworld.com.

« jaxomlotus : So what kind of SEO do you focus on? It's always been of interest to me. One of my regular stops (and where I learned a ton about the SEO that went into Plime's design) is webmasterworld.com.
I learned a ton at webmasterworld.com too. I also learned from seobook.com and mattcutts.com/blog. Most of my learning came from trial and error. I went through the hayday of Adsense where you could put up sites and make easy money providing garbage for content.

The goal then was to focus on your Adsense clickthrough rate and forget the visitor. I learned quickly that focusing on visitor experience was the most important thing.

Now, I focus on Web 2.0 SEO (getting traffic from sites like Plime, Digg, Reddit and Netscape). My experience at Plime has actually taught me a lot which I had kinda learned from my friend and partner Jack Humphrey (www.jackhumphrey.com) that you have to be a member of these communities to see results from them.

That is truly Web 2.0 in action. I think things like Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) and theme matching are just fancy words to scare people about SEO.

I also firmly believe Wordpress is the best content management system on the web and will provide you great rankings and results.

I did article marketing for a while and it worked very well for PageRank, but not very well for visitors. I would submit 10 articles to the article directories and be a PR4, but the traffic would be nonexistent.

Thankfully, I never got into content spinning or PLR (private label rights) articles. I feel sorry for people who think this strategy is effective. They are just being led down the wrong path by some guru.

I've learned it's all about the visitor and that is the most important factor. When I learned to take care of the visitor it was amazing how Google started ranking my sites high and sending me traffic.

I focus on good keyword-driven titles, a steady stream of backlinks and taking care of your visitors. Everything else will fall into place.

At the company I'm a partner in, we teach people how to build authority sites. Our motto is, "keep posting great, original content and you will have success." Our members that follow that approach are receiving tons of traffic.

It's very rewarding to see these kinds of successes. We feel good about ourselves teaching people this approach because there is no black-hat involved or any of the other stuff you sometimes see in internet marketing. Basically, it's a long-term business plan.

Sorry for such a long-winded response, but I wanted you to know my background. SEO, like most other industries, is constantly evolving but ultimately my focus is on the visitor.

Are they having a good experience?
Would I bookmark this site?
Did I find the information I was after?
What are chances they come back to my site?

So, to finally answer your question: Visitor Optimization and Web 2.0 SEO.

Don't know that I qualify as "new", I submitted my first post to Plime 2 months ago. This has become my favorite site lately, go figger.

Curent: I'm 38, married to the coolest chick around, live in Maryland, 2 kids (son 15, daughter 10), and do accounting for a chain of car dealerships. I'm a huge music freak/fan, so any free time I manage to get for myself is spent playing guitar or listening to my vast music collection.

Past: Originally from Montana and joined the Air Force to get out. Spent 6 years in as a Korean linguist. Lived in California, Texas, South Korea, Seattle (briefly) and Maryland.

Have a nice day!

For security reasons, portions of this post have been redacted.

I'm the guy who posted this comment. In my spare time I write mysterious ramblings on napkins and leave them in random bathrooms throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and sometimes Puerto Rico. I like to speak in vague and ambiguous terms, sometimes. I only officially work on dates that are prime numbers. My kids wonder why the mailman lives with them only because they don't know that I'm their dad. When I'm feeling sad and lonely, I cry myself to sleep in bed. Sometimes it helps, but sometimes I feel really guilty in the morning. That's usually about the time that I get up and look at myself in the mirror and say, "Get some clothes on you hairy monstrosity!" But you know what, I can't complain.

But if you really want to know something about me, you can read my profile.

I’m a fairly new user who is fairly boring. I’m from New Jersey, Michigan, Minnesota, and Arizona most recently. Married with no kids; we’re waiting until I finish Pharmacy school to talk about offspring.

I work as a banker full time, go to school full time, and sleep very little. I’m horribly addicted to books, nicotine, and Psychobilly.

I know a lot of the users here are fantastic artists (Worth1000 kicks a**), but I’m useless with two dimensions, so you’ll never see my art (sculpture), but rest assured it is mediocre.

Oh look, a Forum!

Hi Y'all. Read my profile.

I'm gonna be 42 soon. Still disabled. Still a veteran. Still married to the perfect man! Still homeless and childless, but hoping to change those sometime soon.

Pretty sure I got here from W1K, maybe SA or Me-Fi. I also like Fark and Craftster. Spend my days surfing, just like I did when I was able to work... Been online since 1987, but wasn't bcgrote then! Also known as Jinx or Jinx of the 2nd Law. You know, anything left to Jinx will tend towards chaos....

Living in San Fernando Valley since 1991, SoCal native.

Still a very sick woman. Evil. Perverse. Obstinant. Mad. Obtuse. Weird.

On a constant search for Womens Plus PETITE sized clothing! Waiting for H&M to open at the mall near me.

3 girl parakeets and one by snow corn snake. Miss my 3 kitties and doggie VERY much, but can't care for anything more.

So far behind, I'm at least 6 months ahead of fashion. And I don't care most of the time. I just like to be comfortable and happy. But the drugs don't work....
