I'm presently eating Ben and Jerry's Phish Food, for the first time.

My wife's description as orgasmic, pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Full review please. I don't have a Wii, I just want to know if it's as good as the original MarioCart. :)
Its lots of fun. Really it is the same old Mariokart + better graphics + more Karts and hidden stuff. They even lifted like 4 of the classic SNES levels, like the ghost house level where it was dark and you had to follow the map (almost exact copies with better graphics). They revamped Rainbow Road into this super trippy whirrly outerspace warpy kinda craziness complete with that last turn that if you drift it too hard you'll end up off the road with life feet to go to the finish. The drift system is very cool, and it is not impossible to snake but it doesn't do much for you either, the bikes are a welcome addition and should provide boredom resistence. At first the trick system seems a little random, then you realize that if you do more than just shake the wheel like idiot you can pull off strategic tricks that help you more depending on the size of the jump. So far as playability goes, this is the first Nintendo product I have ever owned (I played Mariokart at friends and neighbors) so I'm no karthead. In a day (like 4 hours total playing) I can clean the 50cc mushroom cup every time with pretty much any character and any kart or bike. I've placed in 3 of 8? 150cc bike prixs and I haven't played any 200cc prixs yet. In time trials I've beat 2 of the Nintendo ghosts, and on one track I'm probably 4 seconds off the top 10 ranked for the US region. like 10 seconds or more off the world top 10. In short the game is just as fun, the controls are simple and the Wii wheel (as stupid as I thought it was going to be) is really a great addition to just holding the Wii-mote sideways.

My wife woke me up at 5AM this morning with her whimpering.

See, I've never known anyone else to do this, but whenever she is having a nightmare, instead of shaking, waking up in a cold sweat, or something else, she makes quiet whimpering noises like a little puppy. It's the cutest damn thing.

What's really odd is that even though I'm a deep sleeper, her whimpering wakes me up. It's gotten to the point now that whenever I hear her whimpering, I'll reach over, softly rub her back or shoulder, and say, "Babe, it's ok. You are just dreaming."

She usually responds with a "Thank you. I was having a bad dream".

Makes me love her that much more.

No, that's one of the reasons you should. ;)

But if it makes you feel any better, she's really sore from our workout at the gym on Sunday, so when she started harassing me about something this morning, I grabbed a handful of upper leg muscle. Except for the screaming, she quieted up real quick.

The wheel is fun, but my advice (to anyone, no exclusivity here) is to abandon it once you've had a play and go for the Wiimote/nunchuk control method.

I dont think it is wrong to crush for any reason. The only wrong thing might be what you do about it.

My boyfriend packed a nice lunch for me today - ham and swiss on whole wheat, apple, pear, V8 and a Budweiser!! And, I don't drink beer.

IDK what he was thinking!

Maybe he forgot he was packing it for you and not him?
Eh, drink it anyway, it can only improve your afternoon. :)

Yeah just tried it...SO much easier to drift the bikes, it is like the whole race is one drift now. But how do you throw shells backwards?
