I am so happy today!

I'm looking so forward to the summer. I volunteered to stay in the field and work all summer so the other people on my crew can get out for breaks (since one's getting married and all), but I'm happy about that since I love rocks.

I'm going to be looking at some rad rocks all summer, and I love the people on my new crew, and I just can't stop smiling.

I'm so happy I'm almost giddy and it feels like I'm walking on a cloud.

I wish I could bottle this happiness and give a little bit to everyone. I am so happy!

This doesn't deserve a thread of its own, and it might not even deserve a post, but I'm so happy and I want to tell EVERYBODY about it!!

Quit beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel...

1. I started this thread. No talk about downvotes in here. PM about it or shut up.

2. The tornado barely missed us. I was up until three a.m. watching the storm. The power was out and the city-wide wireless internet was down so I couldn't check weather.com. I finally got ahold of my mom and got her to put her TV to the weather channel and to leave her phone by it. I laid on the couch listening to my mom's TV on my phone and watched the city get b***hslapped by hail and wind.

Some mobile homes got smashed and a lot of trees are down.

I know that, personally speaking, there's not a lot I don't turn to the internet for in terms of
information, but I reckon that if there were a tornado going on in my town I'd be able to tell without weather.com.

Having said that, I think I'd probably check too...

I wish it would rain here. I miss the rain.

It rains here in July. That's pretty much it. Except a few times in the winter.

i like rain ... but when the air is thick and the sky very overcast and it DOESN'T rain, i go freaking nuts.
