My kitchen is getting redone. I'm the primary designer. I really really really hope it looks good in the end. Otherwise it's all my fault that my mom has a brand spankin' new ugly kitchen.

They just did the demolition today. The ball is rolling. Pressure's on.

The neighbors just moved today before their lease is up. One of them left their key with me so we could play in her apartment while she's gone. We share a wall and you'd think that there wouldn't be that big of a difference between neighboring apartments, but there is. Their side has nice appliances, newer fixtures, nice blinds, a white door, and extra window, a different closet, and a patch of tile by the front door. It's so much nicer than our apartment; we want to move over there! No, seriously. We want to move next door. We're not going to, but it'd be fun.

We're thinking about using their apartment for storage since we have too much stuff over here and nowhere to put it. It would be nice to de-clutter. The only thing I'm worried about is the management company. They have the apartment until August, which is when our lease is up too, so it shouldn't be too big of a deal, right?

I'm halfway moved. It was frustrating, trying to move over the long weekend.
