I know! It's our anniversary gift to ourselves. We never buy presents, but we try to do something cool each time. The first anniversary we went camping in Vedauwoo National Forest, second was just a day at the ocean (we had a 3-month-old baby so options were limited...), third anniversary we went to a wild animal/big cat refuge, and this year will be Dropkick. And it will be my first time seeing them live!

Damn, I had the comment copied and ready to post here but then we took the dogs for a walk.

I drove 3 hours round trip to Nashville after working all day today because a friend needed me to pick her up. She was having a breakdown and couldn't trust herself to drive, so I was totally on board with keeping her off the road and out of danger. I've just gotten back and it's 12:30am. I'm going to have to call in sick to work tomorrow because I can't sleep even though I'm dog-ass tired. :( I HATE INSOMNIA.

My cat's breath smells like fish food.

I was feeding my sister's fish and my cat was sitting nearby. She started sniffing so I decided to give some of the fish food to it. Sprinkled some into my hand and it ate it.

we got our kids a new beta, and the wifes cat somehow got the bag of fish food in the middle of the night. I just opened this bag mind you. and Mr Kitty ate all the fish flakes. the whole day the cat stunk something awful, but he seemed really happy. at least i know Mr. kitty wont get gill rot.

All the pets love fish food. Even the cat that turns up her nose at fresh milk will eat the fish food. The dog prefers algae wafers.
