« Nunkii : Okay, I won almost all the items I wanted. Unfornately, I lost on 3 of them because some f**ktard bid at the last 10 secs and my reload button wasn't working. Yes, I screamed and danced around the house in a scary fashion as my animals looked on, but I am very happy.

Um...about me being addicted. I'm not. I can quit anytime I want to, I just don't want to.
As any /b/tard and ebayer will tell you, the F5 key is your best friend :P

At our apartment, we often leave the door open and put a fireplace fence thing in front of the door so that our animals can still be outside while not getting hit by vehicles on the busy street that we're right next to. There's this couple of up-tight, always irritated chain-smokers that live in the building next to us and they have this beautiful, sweet cat that they let roam the parking lot. It's incredibly stupid to let any pet roam around here; our building literally backs a very busy street and there are lots of cars in the parking lot; it's a roadkill just waiting to happen. There are places where it's safe(r) to let cats roam, but this is certainly not one of them.

We have been having some massive storms lately, and they've kept their cat out for all of it. I mentioned that their cat was taking shelter under a bush while the guy was outside smoking the other day, and he shrugged and said "eh". Yeah, I know animals are fine in the wild, but still. Have some consideration for your pet. There's a freakin' tornado in the next town, and you say "eh".

The cat comes to me when I call her and she lets me hold her.

The other night, our door was open and the fireplace thing was there as usual and I looked over and saw that the kitty was right up against the fence, looking in. It reminded me of a poor little orphan looking in at a warm, happy family on Christmas. When I went over to open the fence up and let her in, she ran off.

Right now she's sitting across the parking lot, watching me type this.

I'm sorta thinking about nabbing her when we move next month. I seriously doubt her humans would be effected.

I'm probably going to get downvoted and barraged for saying this but...do it.

A drug addict neighbor once had a cat, beautiful sweet cat. She kept it out on the balcony day and night, all weather. Only occasionally put out food and water.

Finally the cat figured out how to get off the balcony (but not back up). The cat wouldn't come to me, or I'd have taken it (I took another of their cats when they did the same thing).

One cold night that poor kitty climbed up in someone's car engine and the next morning that person started the car. The cat didn't die right away, it suffered for a good 15 minutes first.

I came very close to an assault charge that day.

I was reading a really good le Carre book, and he killed my favourite character in the book. I knew it was going to happen, but I'm sad.

Is it bad that I'm sad that a fictitious character died?

Oh, and I'm all for the cat-napping. I hate seeing people and animals being neglected.

That was pretty stupid. What about the ticket jocks that let the tot into the movie?

When we went to see Kung Fu Panda, the theater was filled with little kids (even ones that couldn't talk yet). They played the Dark Knight trailer, which is pretty bloody and gruesome for a little kid. A number of them were hiding their faces and crying.

You've seriously got to wonder what some of these people are thinking.

Ugh, I hear you.

When I took my bf to see Borat, there was a 7-year-old kid in the row ahead of us.

What the hell? People are so stupid.

No, its not stupid. I was sad when J.K. Rowling killed a few of my favorite characters in the 7th Harry Potter book. Hell, I'm sad there will be no more books.

I hate when good things end, like Firefly for instance. My favorite characters in CSI: Las Vegas are not resigning their contract, so I won't see them next season and the lady who plays Sara Sidle is already gone. The most recent episode, Warrick gets shot in the head. The writers should've thought of a happier way for his character to move on. That really bothers me =0( Things will never be the same.

The thing is though, when I worked at the movie theater, you cannot object to a parent. Only they can decide whats right for their kids and people can get fired for not letting them make that choice. So really, its the parents who let their young kids see that stuff. People who work at the theater are not in charge of that.

Now the Dark Knight trailer...wth would they show that at a pg rated movie? That's not right.
