You reminded me of when I was a kid. Whenever I would hear the song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight", my sisters would call me a bag of bones, because that's what they thought it was saying instead of vagabonds. I would always get so pissed.

Good times.

Hm.. I did that once, traveling with a guy friend. He left me in Ohio when he ran into his ex-girlfriend.

Be careful. And if anything happens, you have a safe place to go in Lawrence.

Lesson learned:

When you're fixing a cable outside a tent that's being illuminated by floodlight from the end of the road, asking someone else to answer the walkie-talkie that is attached to your belt may lead to unexpected results.

Maddison is now mobile. About 1 week away from 6 months and we now can't put her down and expect her to be there when we get back.

Wasn't, I swear. We only noticed we were casting a shadow when everyone inside the tent started laughing. I couldn't answer the walkie-talkie myself because i was holding bare, live wires in both hands which I couldn't put down on the wet grass, so I asked the other guy to do it. He couldn't get it off my belt, so he spoke right into it.

My little brother, Justin, just said "Thank you", and he also walked across the room, unaided! I'm ecstatic. :D

Our A/C is broken. I have sweat dripping off my nose and chin. Not just a drip here and there, no, it's lots of drips. I have the windows open, the door open, fans on, lights off, I made brownie mix and put it in the fridge so I don't have to use the oven, the puppy and I have been munching on ice cubes, and it's almost 9 o'clock at night. If I weren't drinking so much water, I'm sure I'd be dehydrated by now. It's ridiculous.

And no, the management doesn't think it's the teensiest bit important.

I'm ready to move into our stone cottage. It's almost chilly in there when you open the windows. It's niiiice :)
