Basic truth is I'm pretty depressed. I've needed shoulder surgery for over a year. Workers comp is dragging my claim out as long as they can. When I say I can't sit here it means I'm losing interest in most things. I have more bad than good days.

Wish you luck Bornbad, and I hope things pick up for you. I may never talk here, and I doubt you know me(even by internet standards), but your posts do give me some entertainment.

Sounds like you should talk to somebody. Being depressed sucks big time, it's not 100% but drugs/therapy can help. Worth a try.

Hope things improve. :( I know about waiting for shoulder surgery. The results were worth it, for me. I spent the next 3 years fighting with workers comp about payment--it ended up going all the way to the State Supreme Court, but I finally won.

Working in the safety field, I have had a good deal of experience with worker comp. I'll help any way I can.
You didn't say if you were still working. If so, does your company have an "Employee Assist" program? That can be a tremendous help.
