A male sea lion from California called Mike has died of exhaustion after over-exerting himself during the mating season in an animal park in Nuremberg, Germany.

i "knew" mike from a german zoo documentary i saw a few weeks ago. they already said that he didn't eat so well but that he was fat enough to cope with it. i guess they should have worried about it some more after all :/
