Even the most avid gardener will not have seen a flower quite like this one.

The rare chrysanthemum has just one stem and one head - but its pale pink and yellow petals are split exactly down the middle at odds of thousands to one.

It was found by William Underwood, 73, in his garden in Cavendish, Suffolk.
