What happens when two genres meet each other somewhere in a sausage plant in Chicago? I'm talking about a true crime story and a true ghost story. Adolph Louis Luetgert wanted to get rid of his wife, and since he had this Sausage & Packing Company.... but his wife came back.

Though he still insisted to be innocent of her murder, his dead wife was haunting him and seeking her revenge, he said.

Seems the article can't decide which decade or century in which this story occurred. Funny typos:

In 1978, two months after the death of his first wife, he married Louise Bricknese.
…the officers did nothing about Luetgert’s odd complaint, until Mrs. Luetgert in May 1897 suddenly disappeared
Luetgert died, insane, in 1900.
Come on, author! Make up your mind.
