Is "Lost" losing viewers? Posted: 2 years ago by tlovesd
It definitely lost me....

Going down a hatch is one thing. Climbing out of one, as Lost is learning, is another.

Can't lose what you didn't have. I never was a Lost fan to begin with.

They do need to be more forthcoming with answers. Less gimicky.

Plus I expect to get all info by simply watching the show. Don't expect to have to go on a treasure hunt, buying books, going online, watching commercials, getting dvd sets etc.

It is hard to believe that there is so much on the island that they don't know about. First thing that should have been done was a survey of the island. Look how long it took before Sayid went around the coastline. Even then it was only out of feelings of guilt, a self-imposed exile.

Not searching the island isn't wise. I keep thinking of the classic Twilight Zone episode where the astronauts think they have crashed onto another planet in a desert and end up fighting each other, killing each other etc, at the end the sole survivor finds out that they were on earth and there were people just a short ways away.

I am a fan of Lost and really enjoy it...but I agree, unless they answer some questions BEFORE imposing so many new ones, they will lose the bulk of the casual viewer...

They did the same thing with the x-files. Always solving little questions, while never answering the big ones. You guys just want all the answers too bad. If we had all the answers we wouldn't have a series. :P

It's serial. Always loose threads until the cliffhanger. It's TV for f*cks sake! Get a grip. I love it.

Well, now that you've given your opinion you could let everyone else have theirs.

That's the problem with J.J. Abrams. He has a very, very big problem with taking care of the children he creates (he's the deadbeat dad of hot tv programs). First Felicity, then ALIAS (oh boy, did he abandon ALIAS to the most idiotic writers on the planet), and I predicted it would happen to LOST, too. All hot shows with somewhat of a following gone to Hell because J.J. doesn't know how to finish up something/keep the pace with something he's created.

IT'S ALL HIS FAULT. And I'm sticking to that.
