His comedy is gaining him all sorts of flak. People are accusing him of Hate Speech.
Of course, only when he made jokes about Muslims did he catch crap.
You can make jokes about Christians and Rednecks, any other minority and you will be burned in effigy.
Make jokes about Muslims and you're likely to be just burned period.

"Red meat and alcohol may be killers but that's nothing compared to human stupidity..." Oh man, that had me laughing so hard! [I usually do laugh or snicker out loud for real when I see something funny]
That is brilliantly funny, but unfortunately accurate.

Make jokes about Muslims and you're likely to be just burned period. I disagree with you, and I think that's a very hasty generalization.
Not only would I not consider Christians or Rednecks to be minorities, but I think jokes at their expense cause equally as much outrage (or lack thereof) as jokes made about other minorities or religions. Think about all the outrage from the Jewish community at one Family Guy episode (that resulted in the show being removed) - it's not just Muslims who may overreact to a comedian.
That said, I've never heard a redneck say a redneck joke is not funny or true.... [... and I grew up in Redneck Central, Alberta] - but I suppose it's because most Rednecks are laid back.

I'd say rednecks are minorities, but I live in California.
So, he claims that the American media so "crawling supine and unwilling criticize" the government...
I'm not sure if he's aware that Fox News isn't like the BBC to england... We have more than one and very few like the current administration.
Frankly, nobody in America doesn't question the government.
Conservatives distrust it, Liberals distrust it.
Americans consistently dislike the government, ever since our origins.
If anything, I've been shocked by the amount of trust some English people that I've spoken with have put in theirs.
I find that an odd and inaccurate claim for him to make.
But then, I guess we're bunch of rednecks to them.
However, I had to agree with this:
...like Jesus and born-again christians, they've got nothing in common
That is painfully true...
