Sorry, folks, but I am not condoning such actions by teachers and administrators but looking at the statistics in the article it says that over 2500 cases over 5 years were reported (not all were) and there are over 3 million school teachers. If you average that out it would be 500 cases per year. So doing the math 500 in a year divided by 3000000 would not be a plague. It would be sad, disgusting, and sickening but not a plague. Again, I don't condone these things. They are abhorrent, disgusting, and criminal.

eg. terrorism vs car accidents and murders, which the latter yearly kill more people then the former have in the whole history of the country
