Black Friday is coming up. Here is a list of many different stores, from Best Buy and Circuit City to Tractor Supply and Bass Pro, ads that will be available on friday.

It's a myth folks. Not that the stores will be mobbed, or that it's the biggest shopping day of the year... the sales are a myth.
In many cases, aside from the "door buster" sales, where they have a limited number of items available (3 for this one, 10 or that one, etc), the sales really aren't that great.
When I was working retail (Circuit City), the door busters were often good prices, for crappy items. And the other stuff wasn't marked down anymore than the week before... and in some cases, the prices were higher than they had been the week before!
Furthermore, many stores will adjust your receipt if the price goes down in the future. I would try to encourage people to buy today, and then come back on back Friday and just have their receipt adjusted... if in fact, there was a difference.
Some people listened... some people wanted to do what they wanted to do. Either way, it was still funny watching people running through the store like crazy at 6am for prices they could have gotten yesterday.

Please do not buy from Best Buy. I hate them with the passion of a thousand burning suns all going nova in the space of a thimble.
