Scientists are claiming ecstasy could become a prescribed drug for post-traumatic disorder within the next five years. The drug MDMA, could take a step toward medical respectability. Researchers in South Carolina have begun experimenting with MDMA.
Studies will also start in Switzerland and Israel.

Not mentioned in the article, but MDMA used to be available on prescription as a slimming aid.
Amphetamines will cause weight loss..
I only know this because my mother was on them for a while.

I only know this because my mother was on them for a while. That's right some friends of mine used to steal it from their mother too. I was told that MDMA was given to couples in marriage counselling. 6-8hrs (depending if the Dr was reputable or not) of intense love and then back to square one and another trip to Dr Love.

Might work - I'm pretty sure it started off a fair number of marriages in the 90s.

The amphetamine family is stupidly rated in the USA. Amphetamine (Ritalin) is considered safe for 2nd graders, and ecstacy (MethaylnDioxyMethAmphetamine) is considered far more dangerous than Crystal (Methamphetamine).

MDMA was used as a therapeutic drug in the early 80's until the feds tried to get into Studio 54 one night and got booted from the line.
Seriously, though, I think that pure MDMA should be used as a device to help people open up to psychiatrists and such. I think it could really help a lot of people! Also, legalize the ganja!! (Sidenote: I don't do either but think they should be legal!)
