Well, this guy built his own! Well, 2 actually, the 1st being destroyed by a hurricane. He can even move it where he wants, and the previous island had beaches and mangroves. Heaven on earth. Er, on bottles, I mean.

I recall reading somewhere (PopSci??) that a similar technology is being tested to help regenerate coastal wetlands that have been destroyed.
