Most places I have stayed have the single use plastic, individually wrapped cup. That said hotels are creepy places.

Tbh, When I go on holiday I like to bring my own glass anyway, the only thing I use really from the hotel is the bed, and the sheets, and I suppose there questionable aswell.

Big deal. I'll still use their glasses, it hasn't killed me yet. I'm sure there's other stuff in those rooms that's even more disgusting.

I cleaned cabins at a resort for several summers during high school--I would have been fired for something like this.
And the beds...I washed sheets for this resort...and cleaned various bodily fluids off of them...I wonder if hotels actually spend the time to make sure every sheet is clean?
Gross.

If the glasses are clean and dry, there is little likelihood you'll get anything from them. One thing they should have done, and would likely have shot down their secret camera piece, is test the glasses for any pathogens present. If they found any, then they could have gotten the board of health to do an investigation.
Ya, the woman who used "the glove" to clean both the toilet and the glasses, pretty bad. But look at it another way: these women are probably not paid to dally in the hotel rooms and make sure everything is perfect. Lots of them are undocumented and all are getting paid minimum wage. I doubt the hotels care HOW the glasses are "cleaned."
