The Madness of Nikola Tesla Posted: 2 years ago by TheStep
He gave us the brilliant tesla coil, developed an X-ray gun and thought you could watch memories through the retina. Just some of the facts about Nikola Tesla, the twentieth century's first mad scientist.

No mention that he had an inordinate love of white doves, was a germaphob and also had an intense phobia of "round things", which is sometimes thought of as one of the reasons he never married. (bewbies)

No mention of his wireless electricty either, which we've just started working on again with success.

I only skimmed, but not a whole lot of madness in there.
And in general, pretty much anything negative you read about Tesla apart from him dying in poverty was propaganda put about by Edison to discredit him.
And Edison was at least in part responsible for his impoverished state.
Tesla was an unsung hero.
Interesting link though, past the bluff.

That was David Bowie?!?!
That was an awesome movie!
I did notice there wasn't any mention of the test he supposedly did that alledgedly knocked down a forest of trees for quite a radius.
love that guy.

This is a person that should have lived forever.
I don't doubt that he could have done everything he dreamed up, even the impossible.

"He believed that women would become the dominant sex in the future, and that they would rule over mankind like "Queen Bees."
Well, sounds like one of his less-crazy ideas.

« hOOsker : Well said pock...Edison was a d**k. It wasn't just him. Last I checked, they still teach Marconi as the inventor of radio in most schools.
Tesla was the father of the future, we just don't see it yet.
Cheers.
