I agree with most of those answers. There's certainly nothing wrong with belief in God and morals.
Some of the US opinions were ignorant. Others simply showed a great moral decay in the UK.

Being from the UK but now living in Canada I found that really interesting and definitely agree with the the way it captured the general consensus of how both sides generally think.
I also found it really interesting how you could usually tie the population's opinion with the spin and propaganda of the government.

I seriously think that EVERYBODY should spend at LEAST 12 months outside their own place of origin at some point in their life. It really give you perspective on what are your own thoughts, ideas, principles and morals and separates them from what you've been spoonfed from those around you back home.
It's amazing how people don't realise how much their culture and their cultural beliefs influence them. Ask anyone to talk for 5 minutes about their culture and more often than not they'll say, we don't have much of a culture. Other countries do, but we don't.

I think zzz confuses HIS beliefs with morals. Even if he has a collective behind him they aren't morals, they're beliefs. It's quite simple as that and to state (or demand) otherwise is no better than say radical Muslims who believe everyone should believe as they do. I have a major issue with that, no matter what your foundation or religion.

Other countries do, but we don't. i completely agree with you! it's amazing just moving from one state to another. i moved from a very democratic state to a very conservative state, and it was mind blowing, life altering, and kind of appalling all at the same time. i hadn't really thought about my positions before on certain issues until i got here and heard people who have the absolute opposite viewpoints. it definitely made me map out my own belief system.
long story short, everyone should move to idaho and hang out with me because people here are weird and it makes me feel lonely. :(
