I disagree completely. The reason the family structure has been so screwed up is because of things like divorce and our culture.
Being a working woman does not jeopardize the family unit in the slightest. My mom works and my dad stays at home and so far we are all still alive and healthy.
It has nothing to do with biology. Sitting in a cubicle and wanting to have some actual power is not against our nature, it is merely against the wishes of culturally backwards men who don't like the idea of sharing power with a woman. Both men and women like being around their children, and both men and women enjoy having respect and power. This is quite the interesting opinion you have. So, according to what you say (or what I took from it), men should be in charge because of biology? Is that to say that women should not lead? I'm a stay at home dad who works about 50 days a year and makes half of what my wife makes at a full time job. Ask any of my kids who's the boss and they will tell you "Daddy, unless he is at work ...then mommy" I am both primary caregiver, cuddly nurturer AND enforcer. Nothing I could do could ever replace their mother's love but my kids are respectful and have true compassion without the stereotypes and gender biases you associate as the GOOD of the family unit. My mother is a master electrician, my father a social studies teacher. I learned from a very young age that woman are the equal of men. Ideally children should have a parent at home for their formative years (my mother started her career after I was in school). I work every day to be an example of the equality I learned as a child and to pass this sense of equality to my sons.

This part I can agree with. buuuut due to the economy, divorce rates, etc.
Parents just don't have the time that they used to it seems. While it took a big shove to get the coke machine to fall over as far as equal rights for women, I think it's settling back down to where more women are taking the role of full time mom as an equally valuable career. I know if I could afford to, I'd stay home!

It does, however, make arguments, which Landover doesn't really do. Still, it almost seems like parody rather than anything serious.
