A 17-year-old girl gave birth secretly at home, then walked four blocks to a hospital with the baby still attached by its umbilical cord.

I saw this one on the news the other night. The kicker for me is she didn't want her parents to know. Well they know now! I just pray that my kids will never so afraid to tell me things.

I've known a girl or two to have secret babies for fear of being kicked out of the home.
What I didn't get was how the parents didn't notice physical changes in their own children!

What I didn't get was how the parents didn't notice physical changes in their own children! I totally agree with you on that one! However, she was kind of chubby. They may have thought she was simply getting chubbier. Or they were in serious DENIAL.
