Hobbes was Calvin's imagination, right? His alter ego? Which means the whole thing is just Calvin talking to himself? Nobody knows; Watterson never made it clear

Hi Dodgyboat, and welcome to Plime.
I've noticed that all three of your submissions so far are to the same toonwalk.com site.
Now this may be leaping to conclusions, but that does make me think that maybe you are affiliated with the site and are making submissions here to drive traffic there.
Whilst this is fine for the likes of Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon et al, it's not something that we appreciate here at Plime, what with us being more of a community and less of a promotional tool.
If you haven't already, it might be an idea if you have a browse through our FAQs to see what is what around here.
If you're not affiliated with the site, just a fan, then one submission is probably enough. If you want to get on here, variety is the key. Well, a key, anyway.
I'm hoping this will encourage rather than discourage you. If you've got any questions or comments, hit the quote button down below and to the right of this or click the envelope at the top of the page and PM me.
Oh, and just one more thing - if you are involved with toonwalk.com it's probably worth you knowing that Bill Watterson is notoriously vigilant about issuing takedown notices for unlicenced use of his work, so a little caution may be sensible.
Of course, if you're not, you've nothing to worry about.
Anyway, look forward to great things from you.

« dodgyboat : No problem, I am not affiliated with them, Just love their content, Thanx for the advice, Cheers No problem. We do have a bit of trouble with Spammers, and it's always difficult to know. Sometimes it's really obvious and they get no sympathy, but I'd not want to discourage a new member through an error of judgment on my part.
So let me extend that welcome again, and also invite you to pop on over to the forum and introduce yourself. You can read up on some of the rest of us there too.

Just spread the love to a few other sites. And welcome to plime.

Dodgyboats profile from Stumble. I found it Googling Toonwalk.
Dodgyboats Profile
Notice his location of Mumbai, MH, India.
Here is the result of a WHOIS on the Toonwalk website.
Whois of Toonwalk
Notice registration address? Coincidence? Me no think so.
Quote from the ABOUT US section of the Toonwalk website
Armed with guitar power and childhood passion to rule the game with unconventional thoughts, these two guys started Toonwalk in a garage. (They still scavenge in this garage which is infested by thousands of cool comics and Metallica records).

Anyone need anymore proof of Dodgyboats lying asshat, spammer status? Google "dodgyboat" and "Toontalk" together and go see.
For added amusement try Googling "vyoma999" and "toonwalk" :D Looks like dodgyboat and vyoma are one of the same OR are both affiliated if not both the owners of Toonwalk.
vyoma999 has made exactly the same comment as the first comment on this post on multiple sites that dodgyboat has submitted exactly the same post on.
