There is a piece on snopes about a story such as this...the whole falling asleep thing and such.
Different story as the boy in the pic is wearing shorts in snopes, however, how did we go from a wonderful pic in the wilderness to an old grainy pic for the snake when it was cut open and on a sidewalk, no less?
I just don't think it's real.

I just don't think it's real. After reading that article, I would definitely have to agree. The last pictures are, in fact, grainy (it looks like a good polaroid pic though), and there's probably no way that Mr. Python could swallow him.
That being said, I think I remember hearing about a snake swallowing a crocodile and then bursting open because it's belly couldn't hold it in. Poor croc.
