Harvey Korman died today.
I feel like the angel of death...
I remember watching The Carol Burnett show as a kid, and waiting and waiting for him to laugh. He was a great comedic actor. We will miss you. picked by eLJay 3 months ago

Oh I watched the Carol Burnett show all the time. He was always cracking up, unable to deliver the lines. It was the highlight of the show sometimes.

RIP Mr. Korman

Yep, me too.. the way Harvey Korman and Tim Conway would start cracking up during their skits would make me roll on the floor, it was funnier than the sketch they were doing.
Dammit.. I always hate to hear when someone that had some influence on my life has passed.

Man. I loved that show too!

Back when TV was family oriented and wholesome.

He was so funny to watch, always cracking up.

Count me in the "Big Fan" column. As a kid, I used to Loooove that show. He played the "uptight" character better than anyone.

*sigh*

Makes me want to watch Blazing Saddles again. I did so love watching him and Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett show, too.

Truly one of the greats. He found his place, and played it better than anyone else in the world could have. He will be missed for a long time, and not soon forgotten.

Oh, I heard this on the radio today. How sad it made me. He was a joy to watch, and he and Tim Conway, God, how I laughed. What a legacy! Godspeed, Mr. Korman.

God must need a laugh to take such a talent...

and yes... him and Tim Conway were a duo that rivaled most any other comic duo ever... it was they would try to crack each other up more than to deliver the lines and it was always funniest when Harvey would lose it during a skit and Tim would just be deadpan like nothing was out of the ordinary...

RIP Harvey Corman...
