Too late. America is already near the bottom of the list in most every way. Except for millitary and economy, and I don't know how thats going to stand up in the next 20 years.

What would the motivation be for anybody to reduce the standing of their own country in the world? By being a citizen of the dominant culture on the planet US citizens simply by being alive experience bonuses that you would not find anywhere else.

Bah...If there was an ulterior motive for global warming it would be for certain businesses to make money, not to reduce America to a nation of beggars. That's far too grand a scheme.
