Pants Round Ass Culture Explained
Pants Round Ass Culture Explained
Well, kind of explained. I found the old guy sounding slightly bemused about the whole thing pretty funny. picked by doggylives 2 months ago

Very educational, as I was so sure these guys did the low pants thing because they had bowel issues.
I mean, it DOES save time when you go to the loo, right?

Excellent. The narrator was having a hoot. :)

Still the question remains, how do these precarious pantaloons keep from falling all the way down? I predict a Nobel prize for whoever describes this mysterious force..

I didn't find this guy either informative or funny for that matter, but that's neither here nor there.

I have gone to the local malls, with friends or by myself and have seen these young men wearing their pants below the crack of their @ss with a fancy belt.

Trust me when I tell you that, unless that belt is really tight, if that! I couldn't count the times these yahoos were left looking like idiots after I ran by them, tugged on their pants pockets and pulled their pants down to their ankles.

Those belts are so tight, sometimes the boxers come off too...

Hysterical prank in a crowded mall.

BTW. This trend did start before the stock market in the States started taking a dive.

Amusing; late, but amusing.

Can I get a warning that it's an audio recording in the main post?

Tightened belt, wider leg stance. Pants with a swagger.

Maybe i shouldn't say this.......... oh well, its never stopped me before;

I understand your position on the pant hypothesis, yet who hasn't been in the "library", the phone rings and one waddles out to answer (important call you know).

That gait is not tenable for long treks to the store and jaunts around the neighborhood.

Apologies for the mental image. And no I don't have any room-mates at the moment except two cats and a passle of fish.

So looking like a jackass is now a "cultural" statement?

Never said it was. But that's how it's done. It is hilarious when a guy in such pants has to go faster than an amble. They often have to grab the crotch area just to keep their pants on.

Always has been, in a way. This is just the most recent incarnation. (Think "Greasers" in the 50s?)
