A student intending to make a speech criticizing school administrators at her high school graduation was cut off in mid-sentence and told to leave the ceremony.
*And that aint the half of it... This principal needs some supervision!

I need more info. She should have been given credit for all courses she took in that school. ALL. And just because your mom is on the school board shouldn't mean you get to be at the top. That makes it about who you know not what you know. That's not right. It needs more to be able to form a better opinion. For me, anyway.

If her side of the story is accurate, than take it up before the school board and if that doesn't get you anywhere, the courts.
You do not make use of your salutatorian speech to start making unproven allegations, and your own political views.
The student had an approved speech. That is what should have been said. By going off on her own rant, the school had to stop her, they had no idea what all she would say. They had no idea how accurate, inflammatory, or appropriate her speech was going to be.
She deliberately lied to them, telling them she was going to say one thing only to try and say another. The accuracy of her complaint doesn't have a bearing. Her method was not the appropriate way to state it. Unless, of course, she knew she didn't have a leg to stand on, so tried to embarrass the school and officials instead.
By stopping the student the principal may have saved her family from a libel/slander lawsuit assuming she would be unable to prove her allegations. She might be able to prove she was unfairly denied credit for a course she took 4 years earlier, but proving the intent was prejudicial and based on favoritism is almost if not completely impossible.

I would be inclined to believe you, but apparently this isn't the first time this school has been heavy-handed with someone who aims to criticize them. I will post a followup if I can find it.

*And that aint the half of it... This principal needs some supervision! I read this line assuming there was more to the story than the caption and heading, but there really wasn't.
