What makes these weird? Just because they're weird to you doesn't mean they're just "weird."

It is bad luck for a bride, as well as anyone attending the wedding, to wear green at an Irish wedding.
Oops, I wore green at my brother's wedding last week, but so did the bridesmaids, so any bad luck from it is only partly my fault....

Blackening isn't only done before weddings in Scotland, also performed on important birthdays, a persons last day at work things like that.
I have only had it done to me once but once is enough.

« tundramonkey : What makes these weird? Just because they're weird to you doesn't mean they're just "weird." Some of them I would say are undeniably weird like blackening (I am glad these weird traditions exist though), but some are just cool like that Indian or the Shoe Stealing competition.
